I like the rough sketchy lines in this drawing.

such as in the places around Lina Inverse's gloves.

The variety of colors in the lines really helps to create a 3D look.

I love the different types of lines in the drawing.

This would be something very cool to bring to animation.

Good stuff.

I'd like to see more of your artwork.

You have a lot of promise.

This is a really cute inktober drawing.

I love the various textures and illusion of color created with hatching techniques.

The night sky is an excellent contrast against the small child in the ghost costume.

The little ghost instantly stands-out against the night sky and house.

You did excellent work with your inking.

You got some really good anatomy on the arms.

The clothes have simple wrinkles.

The girl is really cute.

The wrist can be a bit more wide.

think about how the parts of hand relate to each other based on your own observations.

You can even connect parts of the face using invisible parts of the anatomy.

You don't have to draw parts of the anatomy but still exists within the picture.

When drawing the face.

picture a nose bridge between the eyes.

for eyes just picture the brow ridge while drawing.

under the nose is the philtrum and it connects directly to the lips.

Anime artists have a lot of knowledge about human anatomy and apply that logic to their stylised characters.

Anime Characters are actually harder to draw than they look.

Compare human faces with anime characters.

Although simple in appearance.

It's still very accurate to human anatomy.

You can connect the parts of anatomy together in the best anime artwork.

You could do it with a bit more experience, refinement and practice.

You are already highly motivated and a passionate artist.

Nothing is going to stop you.

I really admire your passion and dedication to drawing.

I hope some of my own knowledge about drawing will help you.

Keep making those drawings.

I look forward to seeing more of your artwork as you evolve over time.

I love this idea of creating stylised versions of live action movie characters.

an Anime or Manga based on MachineGirl would be awesome.

The physics on on the skirt make logical sense.

Clothes would naturally react to changes in motion.

Clothes physics in the real world can actually be a extremely complex.

eliminating clothes wrinkles makes the design better suited for animation.

I'd love to see how this drawing looks in motion.

I really love the pose.

Just change the levels of thickness of lines to add more depth.

conveying distance is based on the directions of lines, line thickness, ect

You got some really cool artwork so far.

I'd love to see you take it to the next level.

I look forward to seeing more of your drawings.

The anatomy in this drawing is surprising accurate.

You've incorporated many of your observations of the human body into your art style.

How the arm connects to the shoulder looks great.

Draw this girl in various other poses for a challenge.

Dragonballz characters are very hard to draw because it requires an understanding of human anatomy.

You gotta understand how the bones in the body fit together.

How muscles look and function with the human.

I recommend studying life drawing.

The arms are great but it use a bit more distance away from the shoulder blades.

Feel part of your shoulders and all the way to the arms.

You will notice a flexible bone between the arms and shoulders.

I don't care about perfect lines since the actual drawing itself is far more important.

The sketchy lines give the drawing a really cool look.

You have a dead-on human anatomy in the dragonballz drawing.

It could easily become front page stuff.

Study human anatomy, wrinkles in clothes and practice drawing a lot of very complex things.

You can apply that new knowledge back into your cartoony style.

These kinda Technical aspects can really add up.

Your work is getting better.

I'm glad that you are still motivated to make brand new artwork.

Make more stuff.

This is a very distinctive and appealing way to draw anime characters.

It looks really cute and has a lot of Cartoony Charm.

MeghanLuna responds:

Oooo Thank you! :) I'm glad you're digging the style :)

I really like this cute version of the main character of over watch.

The simple design and smaller proportions creates a more chibi look.

The clean and steady brush strokes adds onto the cuteness.

The clothes was obviously the most difficult part to draw.

The outfit is accurate to the original over-watch character.

Experiment with varying line thickness to create more depth.

various line thickness can also manipulate the eyes.

The more detailed clothes really attracts your attention towards the girl's face.

You did a real adorable drawing of tracer.

Excellent work.

This is a really cool comic book style illustration of the monster from aliens.

The green liquid oozing from the alien's mouth was a nice touch.

Have a Happy Alien Day.

You drawn a really cute girl.

You did a great job on colouring the shadows of the collar bone and neck bone.

I love the details of wrinkles in the clothes.

You really understand how the facial features fit inside the head.

The nose, philtrum and lips all fit together.

You really know your anatomy.

MLeth responds:

Thank you! Cartoons are based on reality which is something a lot of people forget so using real references goes a long way to get anstomy and proportions right!

I created cartoons for newgrounds since 2003 and collaborated with artists such as livecorpse, Billy Monks and others.
I'm also known as PowerRangerYELLOW on my alt account.
I hope to make more cartoons soon.
