The music used for this submission was a 8bit version of what is love.

The music was appropriate for the computer theme of your animated loop.

The disks protective part sliding to simulate a head bop was a silly visual gag.

The song, ''What is love'' is often associated with night at the roxberry.

The head bop to that song is a running gag.

The light moving at the car window was a neat effect.

I like the different shades of grey used.

The buildings can look more impressive by using an increased variety of building shapes.

Most your buildings were simply grey squares with windows.

A city is actually very difficult to draw.

The loop would work way better as a visual gag inside a more ambitious submission.

I personally hated this loop to be perfectly honest.

I might like your other movies better.

lolnein responds:

Thank you for your detailed feedback! Yes, I really just wanted to get the point across and didn't focuse on the animation too much. Maybe I am too impatient sometimes. I will try to improve!

Flipnotes is great tool for creating animation while bein away from the computer.

I've sometimes created animation using flipnotes while lacking opportunity to use the computer.

I love the poses in the drawings.

Good Poses are very important for making the animation look better.

The character in your movie has a very distinct voice.

Distinct voices are important for cartoons.

If a cartoon has a voice distinct to themselves than the character becomes a living entity.

The voice acting was good because the actor speaks with feeling.

I love how you played around with the eye shapes.

Playing around with the character's facial features effects the acting of your character.

Not only does the voice doing acting.

The animated character does some acting as well.

If you draw an expressive face than the character has qualified as an actor.

You created an actor from your own hands.

Some cartoon characters are better actors than others.

Some animators don't always draw very expressive characters.

An expressive face on an internet cartoon is often taken for granted.

It is often missed whenever a character appears to have no emotions at all.

I love the close up on the piece of paper.

You used an increasing level of detail in the drawings for close ups.

This cartoon was a very silly short movie.

skuff196 responds:

Thank you so much for this thoughtful critique it warmed my heart! =>

I don't speak the language used in this movie; However, the voices seemed to work.

The characters each had distinct voices that belong to themselves.

The movie's actual subtitles were contained within the authors comments.

That is actually really helpful.

I would still prefer to see the subtitles added to the actual video.

Perhaps an english dubbed version of this submission would be effective too.

You'll be pleased to know that a lot of english speaking voice actors would be honored to lend their talents to you.

The simple translation in the authors comment also works effectively; However, it ruins the flow of your movie having to check back at the translated text.

The drawings didn't really strike me as particularly great.

The chick in the movie had circle like arms with no hands.

a lot of the animation used motion tweens.

The arms didn't really have connecting joints.

The arms had no shoulders, elbows, forearm or hands.

It didn't really connect to the body itself.

The body has a lot of joints connecting to each other.

The foot alone has a lot of moveable parts inside.

Carefully observe your subject and than practice drawing your subject.

You may actually surprise yourself.

You'll get better in the graphics department with plenty of practice.

I hope this review helps you with future improvement towards better movies.

Best of luck with your next endeavors.

JoseMance responds:

This text was translated by google translator: Thank you for evaluating the first chapter of the "Vete Ala Mierda" Thanks for your criticism will be worth in the future to improve a little bit each day. On the subject of the characters it is that they are well are styled as South Park, thanks for his criticism! : D

That was awesome cartoon with very visually pleasing animation.

I love the animation effects used for the drug induced fantasy in your movie.

The double outlines used during the shroom induced fantasy added a very surreal look to that scene.

One outline has a ghost like effect to it and the other outline is more solid.

The colorfully backgrounds in that drug induced fantasy world were strobe lights, swirls and a series of colorful squares.

That shroom trip was definitely not visually boring.

A lot of the other animation before the cat head ate mushrooms was very strange too.

Some anime chick tried to cast a spell using the cat head.

Cathead kills anime chick by zapping her head off.

I assume the backgrounds were created with a image manipulation program.

The anime influenced chick had some great poses.

The chick seemed to have spoken very incoherently.

I didn't understand a word that she said.

The blood effect on the chick's exploded head appears to be created with photoshop or GIMP.

That decapitation effect can be improved upon by thinking about parts of the head.

What are the parts connecting her head together?

After understanding how to put the parts together than the next step is animation of gory scenes.

You want your gory scenes to look gruesome.

The blood leaving the headless corpse will have lots of blood come out at the start.

Than less blood comes out of the wound progressively until none is left.

Animate gore effects this way and it'll look a lot more polished.

The girl and cat had cute designs.

The lighting effects used for the first section of your movie looked awesome.

You blended flash and digital images from outside programs beautifully.

Your animated short reminds me of those short cartoons produced for the fox network.

This cartoon was much more visually appealing than most animation domination HD animated shorts.

This was a very entertaining thing to watch.

TheMethRing responds:

WOW lol, I never knew I'd actually get attention on here so fast, thanks for your input. Love you bro, this is also on my youtube channel "TheMethRing" my first video wasnt all that, i only have two my older one and the one you see on here, subscribe if you like, help me out :D. Thanks for the input again lol seriously, made my day kinda.

This was a really neat music video with plenty of visual variety.

I love the changes in artistic styles and mediums.

Some of backgrounds appear to be painted by hand.

The animation style of your band reminds me of the same aesthetic as Ka-Blam.

The drawing style reminded me of Ka-Blam for whatever reason.

Perhaps, you were a fan of that cartoon series during childhood or possibly somebody involved with that show.

Your art style will experience an evolutionary transformation as you progressively become a better artist from practice.

All our own art styles start off by inspired by outside influence and than eventually building onto it.

The building material of the art style takes a life of it's own.

That art style than becomes the calling card of that artist.

You already seem to be creating your own distinct drawing style; However, improvement will be seen from increased practice and observation.

Make more cartoons.

mistagreenbeanz responds:

Hey, thank you!! That really means alot! =D

This movie had a very a perverse sense of humor.

The movie becomes extra funny by having a certain level of familiarity with the other Fay movies.

The blonde guy in the movie sometimes simply puts a pink bow into his hair.

The pink bow usually indicates that he is cross dressing.

The context of the movie still works as a stand alone submission.

I've sometimes seen uncolored gaps where color was supposed to be.

The movie looks a bit rushed in certain spots.

The overall movie still turned out to be entertaining because of it's demented sense of humor.

I'm loving these movies so far.

- Mightydein

willcamick responds:

It was a bit rushed. I hope to take more time on my next one. :) I have had a few people ask about Fay's bow and what is the meaning behind the fact Fay wears it half the time. My answer is Fay is what ever people want Fay to be.

You created animation using a program for computer generated images.

You put a lot of careful attention into the poses.

You produced some excellent practice animation using a CGI program.

Chitch responds:

Yes, I started out by simply blocking in the poses, so I knew exactly what each character was going to do in the scene. From there, I enabled tweening and cleaned up the animation. I put it through a couple runs of clean up, ensuring to have secondary action where needed.
Thanks for reviewing!

I like how you used your own drawing style as a calling card for other possible animations.

I only seen this one cartoon produced by you; However, your chair and thing were drawn in distinct ways.

The short cartoon was pretty stupid in my honest opinion.

But it should have ended before the video attempted to beg for youtube subs.

I don't enjoy youtube videoes including speeches about needing me to subcribe.

I usually feel alienated as an audience member by the author including a long speech about needing me to subcribe.

You could have made an entirely separate video to talk about youtube subs.

The speech at the end felt way out of place.

I seen other youtube videoes show previews of past animations.

Showing previews of past animation at the end will significantly increase subs without alienation of the audience.

Posting your youtube cartoons at newgrounds will increase your fan base.

You selected a great site for getting exposure to your work.

Next time make the section for audience subscription a lot more brief and entertaining.

Simple previews of past cartoons is the most effective way.

The actual cartoon itself had a great drawing style.

The characters had expressive faces.

I like a lot of coloring; However, experimentation with different colored outlines would create different looks.

The shading really makes the coloring look better.

The shadows and light can use a bit more direction by working from clear light sources.

Some of the shadows had no clear light sources.

The backgrounds would also have lights and shadows to blend with the characters.

Shadows are generally difficult because sometimes more thevone light source exists in certain backgrounds.

It takes practice to learn how differences in light will effect the look of your subjects.

Using plenty of shadows does make for a more polished looking cartoon; However, you may need to use less shadows to give more clear direction to shadows.

You can than add more shadows with increasing improvement from past experience.

Don't worry about producing longer movies too much.

It's generally better to create a short awesome movies instead of a lengthy average submission.

Short movies can work most effectively for quick gags.

That short movie was alright.

I just didn't like the long speech encouraging me to subcribe at the end.

Use short previews of past movies instead.

- Mightydein

neitoproductions responds:

Am really sorry that the video may not have made much sense, it was a parody to the Yu-Gi-Oh current metagame, and I do apologize about the last message the only reason why it was there was due to Youtube standards where longer means better, so that's why I added the message with the animation, I just forgot to take it out for Newgrounds, but I do appreciate a lot all of the guidance you gave me with your comment.

It's actually really cool that flipnotes was used for creating this animation.

You can still create new animation while you are away from the computer with flipnotes.

Any version of the nintendo DS can be taken anywhere because it is portable device.

You have the luxury of actually observing out door settings while creating new animation using flipnotes.

Flipnotes is an art application that you can easily take with you.

Flash is not portable unless it is installed inside a laptop.

I'm not certain if is possible to create flash animation using your cellphone.

Generally flash animation cannot be created in portable devices such as a cellphone.

The nintendo DS is basically a small computer that can taken anywhere.

You can play games, animate with flipnotes and possibly access the internet using wifi.

You have an amazing animation tool that didn't exist in my own childhood.

I would have appreciated flipnotes existing.

I appreciate flipnotes existence right now.

I can more easily pump out new animation because of flipnotes.

You don't always have access to a computer but a portable gaming device can be used whenever another family member hogs the computer.

The nintendo DS has a built in pen tool to make drawing easily accomplished.

Flipnotes and Nintendo DS were tailor-made for each other.

Drawing with the nintendo DS pen tool is significantly more natural feeling than using a computer mouse.

If you can't afford a tablet for the computer than the nintendo DS already functions as a mini tablet.

You could import your flipnote animations into flash and trace it.

You have an amazing animation tool in your possession with lots of potential.

You have no reason not to use multiple tools for creating different animations.

It's not the actual tools used for creating art but your artistic ability.

The great thing about animation is the endless possibilities to invent strange new worlds.

Anything is possible in cartoons.

Internet animation has an edge against mainstream animation produced for television, movies, ect.

Internet animation has a level of freedom that cannot be offered by television and movies.

You can easily get lots of exposure for your new animations on this website.

I usually received more viewers for my cartoons by posting them to newgrounds instead of youtube.

Flipnotes is a kickass new animation tool for creating internet cartoons.

I noticed you used the latest version of flipnotes.

Flipnotes now has more colors to play around with.

My version of flipnotes has a much more limited ability for adding colors.

I seen red, blue, green and yellow.

I only have an ability to use two colors at a time.

I have a much more limited supply of colors in my nintendo DS.

Your version of the nintendo DS has a lot less limitations.

Don't blame the tool used for the quality of the overall cartoon.

You can train yourself to get better at animation and drawing with experience.

Your voice acting sounds like a young kid.

Being a young kid will give plenty more time to practice your craft and make improvements.

Stick with creating animations and you will have an edge against future rivals.

A lot of internet animators begin in their teenage years or adult years.

Starting from childhood will give you plenty of time for practice.

Take advantage of your youthfulness while you are still young.

The drawings in this movie were very primitive.

The arms were often drawn in stick form.

You also used actual stick figures too.

I liked the poses of a few of those stick figures.

Stick figures generally need strong poses like anything else.

Animation poses are very important.

The quality of the drawings began to decline as the movie continued forward.

You can prevent that problem by only working on the cartoon at certain times.

You want to completely enjoy the process of creating new animation.

You appeared to have the most fun creating the animation at the start.

I noticed a higher attention to details during the early parts of your movie.

You gotta constantly change things up to break up the boredom of creating the same thing.

Take breaks with creating your cartoons and than return after you received a renewal of energy.

You can't force yourself to create new art.

You'll create new stuff whenever you want to.

Creating will simply come naturally to you.

I didn't like your movie to be completely honest with you.

I still awarded you with extra points because you selected an extremely good animation tool.

You just need more practice and soon will be able to more effectively utilize it's potential.

Keep pumping out those new movies.

Ignore those nasty critics because your goal is practice by producing new animation.

You'll gain experience from practice and learn new things.

I hope to provide some useful information for your future animations produced with flipnotes.

Keep drawing and be ready to take on new challenges.

Best of luck to your future endeavours.

JDoUo responds:

Wow..You are so right It's not the app it's me and my talents that creates the project, reading this made me realize to continue to better myself and work harder on my animations. Thank you dearly for your time. p.s Im teaching myself as I go so thank you for the great criticism. c:

I'm personally tired of seeing submissions based on game grumps.

With that said; This movie was actually surprisingly funny as a nice change of pace.

I don't normally like these stupid game grump movies; However an exception is being made here.

You selected a piece of audio that was completely unrelated to the subject matter of video games.

A lot of video game references are lost on me and certain gags just don't click with me.

The subject matter of the movie was an unrelated story about a handsome nerd.

This handsome nerd embodied all the stereotypes about nerds with the exception of being attractive to women.

The game grumps seem to be very colorful story tellers and has managed to inspire lots of newgrounds animators.

The story really went off on a wild tangent much like a conversation between two friends trying to make each other laugh.

That sort of conversation usually happens inside the writers room rather than be used an actual script.

The absurdity of the story along with the voice acting added a lot of comedy.

You selected a surprisingly funny bit of games grump audio.

The drawings themselves is the real meat of this submission.

The characters had lots of funny facial expressions contributed plenty of humor.

You used plenty of camera angles with your cartoon.

I love the colors selected for this movie.

The colors were appropriate and carefully selected to give an interesting look.

The default background for most of the movie looked a lot like paper.

That is a very neat effect.

The resulting movie was surprisingly good for a game grumps styled submission.

I was entertained.
