This movie seems to be very strange and puts it's own twist onto Yu Yu Hakusho.

I recognized Yoshi as the role of Yusuke Urameshi, Winnie the pooh as kuwabara, ect

The crude drawings added an extra bit of comedy to the entire movie itself.

I would have liked to see more animations during the intro.

The movie stops on a frame where the characters are standing together.

The music keeps playing.

A quick fix would have been to add a text saying, "Too lazy to keep animating. Now listen to music"

You could have also added more animations into the intro itself because your concept has a lot of potential for comedy.

The sped up version of the theme song sounded very funny.

The music added strangeness to an already weird movie.

I wouldn't bother adding any kind of explanation for anything within the movie.

You might get a few bad reviews bitching about how it doesn't make sense.

I would recommend intentionally making Yoshi Yoshi Hakusho even more weird and confusing.

Confusion can sometimes induce laughter because of the extra element of surprise.

Make some episodes of Yoshi Yoshi Hakusho.

I look forward to it.

I found myself to be hypnotized at certain moments of this music video.

The visuals were often trippy and served with assistance to creating an entirely different reality.

Animation has that ability to create entirely new dimensions and is the closest possible medium for displaying dreams.

Human hands are still required for programming 3D animation programs.

It takes even more work to make that 3D animation look good.

I really love the cel shaded look of certain pars of the entire music video.

The music sounded a whole lot like classic 8bit video game music.

The electronic music added onto the electronic animation.

I would be interested in seeing more experimentation with the animation medium more often.

Animation has an incredible level of freedom to create and explore these strange new worlds.

I look forward to seeing more stuff from you.

Best luck with your future endeavors.

Strowtocin responds:

Thank you very much. I love cel shading too.
That comment was just what I needed. You'll definitely be seeing more stuff from me in the near-ish future. Hopefully the next thing will be better than the last.

You took my advice about including the time it took for creating your speed drawing.

I like how you decided to color the drawing for this video; However, I would have prefer seeing a more complex drawing.

You could try taking your time with the creation of increasingly polished drawings.

I've never seen a speed drawing video utilize water color paints, crayons or whatever else.

You could change techniques for coloring each speed drawing for the sake of variety.

I don't entirely agree with your music selection because of your subject matter.

You were drawing goku and the dragonball theme song would have been a more appropriate selection.

Music selection is an important aspect of these speed drawing movies.

The music having a relationship to your speed drawing would have made for perfect speed drawing videos.

This was a neat speed drawing video but different music selection would have made improvements.

I look forward to seeing new speed drawing videos.

Best of luck with your future endeavors.

yhanks men and yes i took your advice i was going to chose the dragonball gt english version or the dragon ball z japanese theme song i decided to go with a random good song yeah next i will buy some crayon aquarelle so ill start doing aquarelle video in a month and thanks again for your advice tomorow i gave myself a pokemon challenge hope you wil like it i try to upload 1 video a day

The language barrier makes following the story in the main feature to be extremely difficult.

The entire submission could benefit from being translated into english.

With all that said; I'm impressed with the overall presentation of this flash.

The interactive menus were very cool and the animated loops for each menus was beautiful.

The main feature was not nearly as polished when compared to the menus.

I would like to see another movie presented in that interactive dvd format.

The flash movie with dvd styled menus is still very cool.

I would have liked to see more extras on this movie.

Make more of these dvd styled flash movies.

Bluture responds:

Thank you so much to see this and more to took your time to see that little things I make and tell me your comments.
I was thinking in translated to english but only the texts. Because the audio was from a video recorded by Rachel (As appears in the animation).

Would you like to see this again when I updated to english?

I'll go ahead and assume that your ninja turtle drawings is entirely based on the classic live action movies.

I would have borrowed more influences off of multiple sources of teenage mutant ninja turtles media until settling on an appealing look.

Fanart can always add it's own twist.

One of my favorite ninja turtles movies was a parody produced by Livecorpse.

He drew the ninja turtles in a style that was all Livecorpse.

You can always draw the ninja turtles in any style and the characters will be recognizable.

The turtle design is simple; However, creating appealing drawings from those character designs is another matter.

I like your turtle drawings but their movements could have used a bit more exaggeration.

The drawings had a lot of detail; However, exaggeration seemed to be sacrificed in favor of detail.

I felt the animation to be bit stiff in my own personal opinion.

Go with more simple drawings to give more room for the characters to movie freely with plenty of exaggeration.

More detailed drawings requires a higher level of effort to create freely moving characters.

Train yourself to understand more simple aspects of your drawing style in a 3D form of existence.

Once you understand your most simple drawings than you can move onto more advanced stuff.

Your graphics were great but that bit of stiffness in the animation kinda bugged me.

I'm currently teaching myself how to create stronger poses with my cartoons.

I assume you draw straight ahead and your animation could be improved upon by carefully planning each pose.

Sometimes you have to draw and than redraw.

Act out your poses and take a video for careful observation.

You could even use stick men for planning poses to more complex drawings.

Do whatever works for creating more dynamic poses.

You may have to develop your own system but it is entirely possible to your future movies more lively than ever.

Just be sure to have fun and only work on animation when you are enjoying it.

I'm done reviewing the animation aspect of your movie.

The concept of a just a mask movie has long been a dead horse and it has never been a funny meme.

The memes get boring and annoying because of repeated performances by everyone else.

It becomes harder to stand out above the crowd when you join them.

Your movies concept is no good.

You have a great chance to make fun of those just a mask movies.

I'm sorry about the harshness of my review but you have shown some potential for creating something better.

I seen a lot of these speed drawing videos on youtube.

I like a lot of those speed drawing videos because it gives you a chance to observe different drawing processes.

You seem to draw straight ahead rather than create the skeleton of that drawing first.

Were you drawing from memory or using reference material?

Drawing can often be a very slow process and I assume it took patience to edit your video as well.

You could include stats about the time it took for creating your drawing.

I will assume your time would be around a half hour.

Including stats about time, art supplies and other things would create a more interesting speed drawing video.

Maybe the next video might be more interesting.

I hope these suggestions help with creating a better speed drawing video in the future.

-Mightydein

Bloodyanimation responds:

thanks men i will give more stat next time and i hope you enjoy this

The movie had a silly concept but the graphics themselves appeared to be premade.

Most people don't appreciate the level of effort required to make any movie.

It is possible to recycle past backgrounds and other things to create something new.

I've sometimes recycled past files to save time with creating new flash movies.

It is generally not hard to use an entire library of your own premade animations.

You can always put those unfinished projects to use for something.

I don't know if such a program allows for customization for your own character designs, backgrounds or whatever.

But usually a lot of these go-animate movies have a generic look to them.

The program likely lacks an ability to allow for customization and makes creating more distinction animations difficult.

You managed to create Bart but none of other simpsons characters.

Bart Simpson was the only character in that universe with yellow skin.

Every character design had a generic go-animate look to them.

The program you used likely lacks a certain level of customized features.

Is customization possible with the program utilized?

Does go-animate have any drawing applications within the program?

Do whatever is needed to teach yourself new ways to create animation.

Experiment with other animation programs if you must.

I know this one chick that used to create animations using MS-paint and a program for creating animated gifs.

You could also use windows movie maker for animation.

You can use flash and any other program for creating animation.

Could these programs to utilized for customization in go-animate?

Try to work beyond the limitations of go-animate.

I would look into creating sprite movies, stick figures, clay or just anything else.

Can go-animate create movies using customized backgrounds and character sprites?

If such a level of customization is not possible than it would be wise to try other animation programs.

Try creating a new animation without the generic go-animate look.

Better luck next time.

Interesting little slideshow.

You likely used a digital art program to create each image.

Many of the slides were zoomed in on, spun and generally manipulated.

I'm normally used to reviewing fully animated features and seeing a slide show is outside the norm.

I learned that my eye tends to be more critical of slideshows because of extra time to soak everything in.

The slides that shown fire looked pretty good.

Many of your lights and shadows looked great too.

I consider your drawings to be a bit crude but a lot of the coloring in your digital program enhanced those drawings.

It's very difficult to review a slide show but I tried.

89animegirl responds:

I really appreciate your response! And yes, I used Gimp 2.8 to create each image. Thank you so much for the feedback, again, I greatly appreciate it.

I was expecting to watch somekinda movie based on beavis and butthead based on the title.

The movie turned out to be a reinterpretation of an audio clip from back to the future.

You took the spoken as a literal interpretation in your animation and the text at the end explained the joke.

The text itself saved an otherwise stupid movie with it's self parody.

The movie itself was surprisingly self aware of how stupid it is.

I don't always recommend using self parody since it can often be funnier to become a target for satire instead.

Here, self parody can be the only effective way to enhance the delivery of this quick gag.

I like the frame by frame and the facial expressions of biff.

It kinda reminds me of egoraptor's drawing style.

We all start with learning from different kind of drawing styles.

There is nothing wrong with borrowing from multiple drawing styles and combining them with others.

Keep practicing and your own style will evolve into something more distinctly yours.

I enjoyed this silly little skit.

-Mightydein

The movie was a short simple gag and served to take the audience by surprise.

It didn't really make me laugh to the same degree as other quick gags.

It lacked a certain punch that can not entirely be explained in my own personal opinion.

Humor is generally difficult to write reviews for because of it's subjectivity.

Some might laugh while others will not.

You might be better off with creating longer but equally silly movies.

Pump out movies like crazy and start refining your work a bit more.

And never forget; If a movie can not be funny than it should at least be entertaining.

I look forward to seeing more from you.

Best of luck.

Scratech responds:

Thanks man, it means a lot to read something from someone who thinks about my work, I'm soon putting more work on other works which has animation and a bit more humor in it. Thanks Bro!

I created cartoons for newgrounds since 2003 and collaborated with artists such as livecorpse, Billy Monks and others.
I'm also known as PowerRangerYELLOW on my alt account.
I hope to make more cartoons soon.
