I was wondering about your evolution as an animator since 2015.

I haven't seen your work in years and your most recent work was created 2 years ago.

Do you have any plans on returning to animation?

I love the concept of a madness movie about a crazed looney drawing faces on all the madness characters.

This movie was actually pretty funny.

Please come back to animation this year.

sorry for such a late response.. i actually have been animating, but just on youtube! i figured that a lot of the stuff i had posted there wouldn't necessarily fit here, so i just stopped posting! i was actually starting to plan on making some stuff this year that would fit well on this site, so hopefully i can get some stuff here within this year.

It takes a lot of control to animate wrinkles with any degree of steadiness.

The wrinkles take away most of the cuteness of invader zim characters.

I honestly hate the added wrinkles but your control over all the different textures and details in animation demonstrates a certain level of skill.

This is a very well made submission by technical standards.

Good work.

The drawings looked great but the animation can be improved upon by more movement and loosening up certain poses.

Your drawings have a lot of detail and utilizing limited animation was a good idea.

The overall movie looks exactly like a professional anime.

Excellent work.

One of the better stick figure fights posted to this site.

The way your stick figures are designed bodywise shows a clear understanding of human anatomy.

The sticks have bodies with obvious joints connecting together.

You could move onto creating human forms and simply use stickmen as the skeleton.

The actual movie itself is a simple fight scene.

You could move beyond a fight scene.

why are the stick men fighting?

What is the reason for their conflict?

You can also reveal character traits during a fight.

A fight scene can function as a mini story within an bigger story.

You got the potential to do so many cool things in the future.

Keep up the good work.

Metapixelatron responds:

Wow. Thank you for the motivation, Mightydein. I actually have the base 3d model for "human looking characters" (body shape similar to that of dragon ball characters). There will be a bigger story and the animation will look much smoother. The stickmen are just one of the many types of character in the universe that I have in my vision. I am working on the world for the main story (a bunch of floating continents in space, the remains of a shattered planet, in the middle of a nebulae). I am also trying to re-work my sound library. Some of my sound effects are low quality and old. Anyway, see you around.

You did a great job with drawing the human form.

The human's transformation into a crow was a neat effect.

The music reminds me of old video games.

You got a lot of potential so far.

I look forward to seeing more of your work.

This movie is showing a lot of promise so far.

I really love the look of the drawings used in your slide show styled presentation.

I would be interested in learning more about the world created in your movie.

This is the most imaginative movie posted here in a long time.

I look forward to seeing more of your work.

I didn't really like this movie because the second half felt so forced.

I assume you became bored working on the same cartoon for too long.

Have you tried drawing Fay characters in brand new ways?

Try doing different colored outlines more often.

Try using more subtle colors in your backgrounds to contrast against your characters.

Your characters should be more colorful than the backgrounds.

Stage objects in your backgrounds to attract attention to your characters.

Do whatever is necessary to keep yourself entertained while working on these movies.

Don't allow yourself to stagnate as an artist or you'll become bored.

Keep making those new movies because they will be awesome as always.

Thanks for the advice ^_^ Yah I did get bored with it. The next one might be better but note I might not post my stuff to NG any more but we will see.

The overall movie was less than mediocre because you made the mistake of prioritizing story ahead of character.

I wanted to learn more about the two characters at the start of your movie.

One of the only characters with an actual personality committed suicide.

The movie's story than deviated into a series of gags about kids killing themselves while playing Pokemon Go.

How does the suicide effect the other characters in your movie?

A character killing himself can easily move the story forward?

What was the motivation of your one character's suicide?

You can easily add a lot more material by focusing on what makes your characters tick.

A character with personality will make creating a new story come more naturally.

I have no other criticism of this overall movie.

It was a bit amusing but could have been a lot better.

I've been on Newgrounds for less than 48 hours and I already hate the community.

I created cartoons for newgrounds since 2003 and collaborated with artists such as livecorpse, Billy Monks and others.
I'm also known as PowerRangerYELLOW on my alt account.
I hope to make more cartoons soon.
