Most of The Story was told on it's visuals alone.

a lot of information comes from Character poses and emotion.

I would love to see an English Translation of the text based dialogue.

I might be missing some important information.

The lost information didn't subtract from overall movie.

It was a very enjoyable skit.

The Girl's had some very cute character designs.

I really liked the simplicity in these designs.

The proportions were drawn in a very cute.

I would recommend adding a bone between the shoulders and arms.

That will make the anatomy perfect in these drawings.

It will also allow for more freedom of motion.

Everything in cartoons has anatomy including stick figures.

Anyways, You did a great Job with creating a very funny skit.

I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Thanks for the observation and the advices. That helps me a lot :)

You used a bunch of photos of your friends to create a Parody of Evangelion.

You edited the photos to brilliantly match eva's intro.

I laughed a few times while watching this.

You could take the comedy an extra step farther by creating a cover of the theme song.

You can add brand new lyrics to enhance the already silly nature of this movie.

I'd like to see other parodies done in this style.

This Movie was Actually Pretty Funny.

You got some really cool stick figure animation with very strong dynamic poses.

Everything about the stick figures followed the limitations of their skeletons.

Your stick figures had some excellent anatomy.

I would like to see some more personality out of these stick figures.

some faces would be cool.

You could add clothes such as Capes, Hand-Bands, Glasses and a scarf.

The torso and legs don't need clothes.

I'd be interested in seeing how you tackle a longer battle scene.

Since you already started off strong.

The battle needs to increase it's intensity until building up towards a climax.

The action packed start needs to be dull in comparison to the more exciting climax.

The boring character development stuff is extremely important for action movies.

It adds more weight to the violence since you became attached to the characters.

You can also include character development during the fight scenes.

Character traits can be revealed during fight scenes.

Body language and emotion can convey a lot of story information.

People process emotion differently.

It would make sense that your stick figures would react differently to the same situation.

This was a very visually entertaining fight scene.

It still works without sound.

I really enjoy animation that doesn't rely on sound to compensate for a visually dull experience.

You created something really cool.

Just take your new stick figure movies an extra step farther and you'll have more successful movies.

Keep going.

Your stick figure animation can slow down a bit.

You did some excellent animation but it often moves a bit too fast to fully appreciate it.

Experiment with certain frames on screen longer.

You can also use more exaggeration in poses to enhance timing as well.

Excellent character poses is far more important than smooth animation.

You can also experiment with lower frame rates and higher frame rates.

Do whatever it takes to get the best rhythm out of your animation.

You have a lot of potential to create more cool stuff.

Keep going.

This was a real slick looking animated short.

I love how you changed the colouring based on different lighting situations.

The colouring temperature changed based on environments.

The arcade lighting will look distinctive from a space-ship's cock pit.

the shadows shifted whenever a lighting situation changed.

You even used shadows to convey depth and distance.

You put a lot of thought into where light came from.

The laser effects and explosions were cool but can be improved upon.

Altering how the lighting and shadows function with each laser blast and explosion would have been perfection.

Lasers and explosions are additional light sources.

extra illumination on each laser blast would be perfect.

laser blasts and explosions will temporarily alter how the lighting looks.

You can always take your special effects an extra step farther.

The changing perspectives and three dimensional motion was very visually dynamic.

The action during the battles was very cool.

The space battles was an excellent contrast against the more dull arcade scenes.

The boring scenes are important for that very reason.

Build up towards the exciting scenes packs more of a punch into the action scenes.

Building towards an exciting climax begins to become more difficult when you start off with action.

Very entertaining short movie but increased run time would leave room for things to explore.

No real true complaints about the run-time.

You know the old saying, "Leave them wanting more"

I really love the three dimensional cel-shaded aesthetic during the space battle scenes.

The changes in perspective and three dimensional movements was very cool.

The complex artwork managed to remain steady while moving.

I'm impressed with your control over detail in your art-work.

I look forward to seeing what you come up with next.

Awesome movie.

This is really cool concept.

This old movie shows many of the same signs of enthusiasm as your current work.

Not many Artists can maintain the same level of enthusiasm for Three Years Straight.

Discouragement off of others will often slow down the improvement of any Artist.

Drawing everyday can really do wonders.

You gotten better at controlling the details in your artwork.

I really love the ambition in this piece.

It was very entertaining.

SonnyFern responds:

This was one of the first shorts I ever did! You can really see the difference between this and my newer stuff! Glad you took a look at it!

Most people will never make a feature length Animated movie.

Even less people will Animate a Feature Length movie by themselves.

It takes a lot of commitment to create any animation at all.

Your current artwork has became more slick and polished when compared to your previous Movies.

You taught yourself a lot of new skills animating a movie by yourself.

I'm impressed with your level of passion.

Keep going.

Your work continues to get better and better.

SonnyFern responds:

I started LVV about 4 years ago, it's literally the first thing I ever animated, so you can watch my skills get better and better as it goes on!

This entire thing is available here, in full or individual episodes, it's also going to be up on Amazon Prime as soon as I get the captions done!

The drawings could still use a bit more refinement but the actual Animation compensates for these flaws.

You managed to move the characters at all angles.

I often seen stuff by far more professional artists stick with a limited vocabulary of angles, tricks and short-cuts.

The work of many professionals will never get better because they stay inside their comfort zone.

You weren't afraid of hard to draw angles.

You weren't afraid to make mistakes and try new things.

You're level of enthusiasm is astounding.

Keep going.

SonnyFern responds:

Thanks for the helpful criticism! I'm not planning on stopping any time soon :- )

It's really cool seeing animation made in the horror genre.

The continuous ominous background hum really creates a feeling of dread.

The overall movie was a bit too short to create a strong contrast between a feeling of safety and shock.

The feeling of safety greatly enhances the few moments of danger.

Horror movies are all about contrast.

A mix of subtle shock value with inoffensive stuff gives an extra punch to those shocking moments.

The element of surprise is the biggest strength of the horror genre.

The start works effectively as the clam before the storm.

Sound is extremely effective at making a scary movie feel extra creepy.

This was really cool.

I really love watching animation in the horror genre.

The muted colors really adds a certain creepy vibe to the visuals.

The muted colors made the red spider eggs and red blood a lot more repulsive.

the creepy background sounds adds a real feeling of dread to the whole piece.

You've made a really scary short.

This was really cool.

thegViantpath responds:

Thank you kind sir. Your compliment means a lot. And it feels really great when someone spells out the gOod points about your work. Thank you for the earnest review.

I created cartoons for newgrounds since 2003 and collaborated with artists such as livecorpse, Billy Monks and others.
I'm also known as PowerRangerYELLOW on my alt account.
I hope to make more cartoons soon.
